Abstract

By affirming the error in the flow of visual or sound information, the phenomenon of glitch art has the critical potential to deconstruct the understanding of the infallibility of digital technologies. Using the example of the Zagreb's /'fu:bar/ festival, launched in 2015, the text explores the phenomenon of representation of glitch art in the local context as well as its specific relationship to new technologies. At the same time, through the analysis of the basic settings of the international festival and its repercussions, the text attempts to understand the concept and significance of glitch art.
